Recently, during the year-end charity at Te Do Pagoda (Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City), Staffs of SAIGONTEL in Hochiminh Office came together to bring joys to poor people in Ho Chi Minh City.

The ceremony of giving presents had the participation of Ms. Nguyen Cam Phuong - General Director of the company and her mother and nearly 10 staffs of Ho Chi Minh Office from the Human Resources, Administration, Accounting, Legal Departments.

Although the work at the end of the year is somewhat harder and busier, staffs still take the time to complete a meaningful gift-giving ceremony at Te Do Temple.

On October 28^th , 2019, the Kien Tuong town People's Committee organized a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Thien Ho Duong High School funded by former President Truong Tan Sang. In the ceremony, there were attendance of Former President Truong Tan Sang, Chairman of Long An People's Committee Tran Van Can, Vice Chairman of Long An People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa, representatives of provincial departments, local leaders and Mr. Dang Thanh Tam (Chairman of Saigon Invest Group, Chairman of Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation) together with the Board of Directors of Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation.

Thien Ho Duong High School was built in Quarter 5, Ward 2, Kien Tuong town with the scale of 22 classes, 12 function rooms, storage room, library, 04 subject rooms, multi-functional blocks and adjacent works. Total investment capital is 130.9 billion VND. In particular, the construction item with a total cost of about 90 billion dong is sponsored by KinhBac City Development Holding Corporation through the advocacy of former President Truong Tan Sang. The design consultancy unit is KinhBac City Development Holding Corporation.

Speaking at the ceremony, former State President - Truong Tan Sang emphasized that the school will help teaching and learning more effectively, contributing to training high human resources in the new era. It is expected that after completing and putting into use, Thien Ho Duong High School will open the year 2020-2021 and it is  expected to receive and train  about 700 high school students in Kien Tuong town and neighboring districts.  This is the first high school in the town that has all the classrooms, practice rooms, auxiliary offices according to national standards.

In addition, the fishing vessel monitoring equipment also creates conditions to support fishermen to comply with the law, contributing to overcoming the European "yellow card", helping the authorities to monitor and timely supporting fishermen to fish safely in Vietnamese waters. (2 typical rules on exporting Vietnamese seafood to the EU, directly related to the urgency in installing equipment to monitor fishing vessels: Rules on traceability for imported seafood products entry into the EU market (No. 1379/2013) effective from December 2014. As a rule, product labels must provide accurate information on harvesting and production. Catch Certificate - prevent illegal fishing: To prevent illegal fishing, caught seafood for import or transfer to EU ships must have a catch certificate for EU markets).

Binh Dinh is a province with developed fisheries of the whole country, especially offshore fishing activities. The province has 6,118 fishing vessels, of which 3,118 fishing vessels with a length of 15 meters or more must install cruise monitoring equipment as prescribed. The marine economy is considered a key industry of the province, contributing to job provision, poverty reduction and income improvement for fishermen.

However, offshore fishing activities often face many risks of natural disasters, overcoming the "yellow card" of Europe is facing a number of difficulties, including the fact that fishing vessels have not been installed with monitoring equipment for operation management at sea and serve the traceability of aquatic products.

At the same time, the situation in the East Sea is complicated currently, some overlapping areas between countries in the region have not yet been demarcated. Therefore, the installation of journey monitoring equipment on fishing vessels for is extremely urgent, such as "magic eyes" to assist ships in determining coordinates and position of ships, ensuring legal fishing and maintaining territorial sovereignty.
