Recently, Saigon Telecommunication and Technology Joint Stock Company (Saigontel) once again received a letter of thanks from the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam (abbreviated as Association).

To express appreciation for sincere help of Saigontel, Mr.. KAO KUO HUA - General Chairman of the General Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam and Ms. HSU YU LIN - Coordinator of a working group on vaccine sent a letter with content of Saigontel wholeheartedly supported the Association; simultaneously as a connector for Taiwanese investors to have chance to contact and work with the departments, boards and industries of the provinces, thereby creating cooperations between the two parties.

In particular, Saigontel is a company connected the Association with departments, boards and industries of provinces: Long An, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau to implement vaccine injection for the businessmen to prevent Covid-19 during the outbreak of the epidemic in the southern provinces.

Specifically, on August, 16, 2021 in Long An, Saigontel supported for 138 Taiwanese businessmen in the Association to get the 2nd dose vacination. With the completion of 2nd dose vaccination, these businessmen are eligible for vaccine passports.

On August, 16th, 2021, in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Saigontel also supported 206 Taiwanese businessmen in the association to get the 1st dose vaccination; and in Dong Nai province, 160 businessmen received the 1st dose vaccination to prevent covid-19.

In the letter, representative of the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam expressed: “The vaccination against Covid-19 can help us return to our family soon...enterprises have actively supported in disease prevention like Saigontel that are trying to protect local people and foreigners living in Vietnam like us from effects of the pandemic, we once again just can say ‘We are much obliged to you”.

In addition to Saigontel, the Association also sent thank-you letters to Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc Provincial Party Secretary, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut - Provincial Party Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Long An Provincial People’s Committee, Ba Ria-Vung Tau People’s Committee, Department of Health of Dong Nai province, Board of Covid-19 prevention and control of Dong Nai province; Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh - Provincial Party Secretary of Dong Nai province for supporting the businessmen delegation of this Association to access vaccine sources soon.

On the 20th of August, the Prime Minister enacted Decision No. 1420/QD-TTg on “Approving the policy of investment, construction and business on infrastructure at Nam Tan Tap industrial park, Long An province”.

The Decision has the following main contents as follows:

(1) The Investor is Saigontel Long An Company Limited.

(2) Project name: Investment, construction and business on infrastructure in Nam Tan Tap industrial park

(3) The project’s objective is “investment, construction and business on infrastructure of industrial park”.

(4) The project’s land use scale is 244,74 hectares.

(5) The location of the project is at Tan Tap commune, Can Giuoc district, Long An province.

(6) Total investment capital of the project is VND 2.590,422 billion, of which contribution capital of the Investor is VND 440,372 billion.

(7) The project implementation progress is no more than 36 months from the date of land handover by the State.

(8) The project operation’s time lasts 50 years from the date of receiving decision of investment policy.

Saigontel Long An Company Limited was established on February, 18th, 2021, located at Lot 6A, street No. 3, Tan Duc industrial park, Duc Hoa Ha commune, Duc Hoa district, Long An province, Mr. Dang Thanh Tam is a legal representative.

Long An Economic Zone Authority received the application for investment of Nam Tan tap industrial Park of 5 investors, including Join Name of Saigontel Telecommunication and Technologies and Sai Gon Hai Phong - Industrial Park Corporation. On December, 15th, 2020, on the basic of consensus of departments and industries agreed to choose Join Name of Saigontel Telecommunication and Sai Gon Hai Phong - Industrial Park Joint to conduct investment procedures of this project.

Long An Provincial People’s Committee evaluated that Saigontel and SHP are both capable and experienced companies in implementing the project of industrial park infrastructure. Saigontel is an investor of Dai Dong Hoan Son project phase 2 (Bac Ninh province), SHP also an investor of Trang Due Industrial Park (Hai Phong), etc. In addition, the confirmation result fo Long An province also showed that Saigontel has ability to mobilze capital from credit institutions to carry out the project.

Previously, on June, 21st, 2006, Nam Tan Tap industrial park supplemented by the Prime Minister to the Development plan of Vietnam’s Industrial Parks under Decision No. 1107/QD-TTg.

In the morning of October 16^th, Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, the Provincial Party Committee Deputy Secretary, Standing Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen People's Committee chaired a meeting to consider the proposal of Saigon Telecommunication & Technologies Corporation (SAIGONTEL) in implementing the project in Phu Binh district. There were also the attendance of SAIGONTEL’s representatives, leaders of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, leaders of related departments and branches.

The project has a survey area of ​​about 900 hectares in the territory of Tan Hoa, Luong Phu and Huong Son district (Phu Binh), this area is not yet included in the planning land for industrial land. Recently, during the year-end charity at Te Do Pagoda (Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City), Staffs of SAIGONTEL in Hochiminh Office came together to bring joys to poor people in Ho Chi Minh City.

Binh Dinh is a province with developed fisheries of the whole country, especially offshore fishing activities. The province has 6,118 fishing vessels, of which 3,118 fishing vessels with a length of 15 meters or more must install cruise monitoring equipment as prescribed. The marine economy is considered a key industry of the province, contributing to job provision, poverty reduction and income improvement for fishermen.

However, offshore fishing activities often face many risks of natural disasters, overcoming the "yellow card" of Europe is facing a number of difficulties, including the fact that fishing vessels have not been installed with monitoring equipment for operation management at sea and serve the traceability of aquatic products.

At the same time, the situation in the East Sea is complicated currently, some overlapping areas between countries in the region have not yet been demarcated. Therefore, the installation of journey monitoring equipment on fishing vessels for is extremely urgent, such as "magic eyes" to assist ships in determining coordinates and position of ships, ensuring legal fishing and maintaining territorial sovereignty.
