A clear evidence is the implementation of the Green Growth Cooperation Agreement signed at the Long An Provincial Planning Announcement Conference on July 25, 2023, between the Provincial People's Committee and Saigon Telecommunication and Technology Corporation (SAIGONTEL) and its partners in SAIGONTEL's Green Infrastructure Development Alliance, including Energy Capital Vietnam (ECV), Allotrope Partners (AP), Chart Industries (CI), Babcock & Wilcox (B&W), among others, in the field of clean energy and the environment. This agreement outlines and supports the implementation of green energy and technical infrastructure solutions in SAIGONTEL's green industrial parks in Long An, specifically Tan Tap Industrial Park and Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park.

With the goal of reducing carbon emissions and becoming an internationally certified Net-Zero standard industrial park in Vietnam, the meeting provided Korean businesses with a more comprehensive understanding of Long An Province's direction. It aims to build collaborative relationships, consult on carbon reduction plans, and establish a Net-Zero roadmap with a vision until 2050 for the entire province. Additionally, it supports the province in attracting green development funds, contributing to the realization of the Vietnamese government's commitment to achieving "0" net emissions by 2050.

This orientation aligns well with Long An Province's recent efforts to address climate change. The close collaboration between public and private partners will contribute to building specific action plans, moving towards the national Net Zero goal. The organization of today's discussion reflects the cooperative efforts between the two countries over time, opening up new opportunities for collaboration. Opportunities always come with challenges. However, challenges are also an integral part of the journey to success.
