In the afternoon of November, 11^th, Long An leaders and Sai Gon Telecommunication and Technologies Corporation (Saigontel) shared experience with leaders of Da Nang city at Da Nang City People’s Committee. The contents include investment promotion, construction of investment model of social residential houses, project model of innovative space, etc.

Attending the meeting, there was Mr. Nguyen Van Ut – Deputy Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of Long An Provincial People’s Committee as a team leader, leaders of Departments, Provincial Propaganda and Training Commission, the Office of Provincial People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Long An province. On the side of Da Nang city, there was attendance of Mr. Le Trung Chinh – Deputy Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of People’s Committee of Da Nang city, Mr. Phan Van Son – Deputy Chief of Office of People’s Committee of the City and Directors, Deputy Directors of Departments and Industries.

There was a representative of Sai Gon Telecommunication and Technologies Corporation – Ms. Nguyen Cam Phuong – General Director of Saigontel and representatives of some companies belonged to Saigontel Group.

Appreciating the experience of Da Nang city in investment activities, Long An province wishes Da Nang city to share methods to remove difficulties in investment attraction promotion; order and procedures for the implementation of investment support mechanisms and policies. Simultaneously, Long An province will also learn the model of Center for Science, Technology Development and Innovation and the model of social housing investment in the form of socialization in Da Nang; learn mechanisms and policies of Da Nang city in implementing socialization of social housing investment in accordance with the provisions of the law on housing.

Overview of the exchange of experiences between Long An province, Saigontel and Da Nang city

In addition, Long An province also wants Da Nang to share experiences in implementing land use adjustment, compensation methods to expand both sides of the route, ensuring benefits for the people who are acquired, and preferential policies for investor support; how to promote the the province and approach investors.

The leader of Long An province also said that the experiences gained during the implementation of projects in Da Nang are valuable and practical guidelines that will help Long An learn more lessons for implementation of projects in the province as well as attracting foreign investors.

Long An province wishes to learn from Da Nang's valuable experiences in investment attraction activities

It is known that policies to create an open investment environment, drastic authorities at all levels, and the highest support for investors have brought "sweet fruit" to Da Nang. In particular, the years of Da Nang implementing the "year of promoting investment attraction" (2018-2020) has brought this city up to 334 FDI projects with investment certificates, with a total newly granted investment capital of nearly USD 846 million.
