Recently, Saigon Da Nang Investment Joint Stock Company (SDN) and Saigon Telecommunication & Technologies Corporation (SAIGONTEL) cooperated on develop the largest social housing in Vietnam with 10 buildings with 21 floors, a total floor area of ​​267,000 m². In particular, the project has a total investment of up to 2,347 billion VND.

On April 13^rd, 2021 at Bau Tram Lakeside Green Urban Area, the ground-breaking ceremony of the "Ori Garden Social Housing project” was organized by Saigon Da Nang Investment Joint Stock Company (SDN) and Saigon Urban Development and Investment Joint Stock Company (SGU) - a member company of the ecosystem of Saigon Telecommunication & Technologies Corporation (SAIGONTEL) - is the project developer. The event had the attendance of Mr. Dang Thanh Tam - Chairman of Saigon Investment Group (SGI) and Chairman of SAIGONTEL, and representative of members in Management Board of SAIGONTEL, SDN and SGU; together with leaders of Da Nang City, districts, wards and relevant agencies.

The commencement of Ori Garden project

This is a social housing project with full facilities, which can support workers in the adjacent area as well as in the industrial parks to stabilize their lives. There was also the attendance of Da Nang city’s Leaders at the event to show their support and determination in taking care of the workers’ lives in industrial zones.

The project is located in the green urban area of ​​​​Bau Tram Lakeside with total 46ha, in the northwest center of Da Nang city. At that time, this is the first social housing project in Vietnam to focus on amenities investment for residents including commercial centers, shophouses, parks, swimming pools, etc; It is also the largest social housing project in Vietnam.

Perspective of Ori Garden project

It is expected that The Ori Garden will provide 3,368 comfortable apartments for workers in Lien Chieu industrial park, Hoa Khanh when completed, contributing to stabilizing housing for more than 10,000 workers, equivalent to 3% of the total number of workers in industrial parks and processing zones in the area.

“According to the Ministry of Construction’s report, there are about 20% of the total number of workers in industrial parks nationwide having stable accommodation in well-invested housing zones currently.
