At 14:00 PM on the 10th of September, at Tan An City Party Hall, an on line conference was held to approve ideas, tasks of central urban planning, highlight works in Tan An city. Accordingly, representatives of consulting companies presented planning planning projects, works project and proposed ideas for urban-service area at ward 5 and Huong Tho Phu commune; Vam Co Tay riverside urban area - ward 5 and Huong Tho Phu commune.

On the side of provincial leaders, there was attendance of Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of Provincial People’s Council - Nguyen Van Duoc; Permanent Provincial Party Deputy Secretary - Nguyen Thanh Hai; Provincial Party Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee - Nguyen Van Ut; Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Council - Mai Van Nhieu; Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee - Nguyen Minh Lam.

On the side of the planning sponsor, there was attendance of Ms. Nguyen Cam Phuong – General Director of Long An Development Invest Joint Stock Company (LADIC). There was also attendance of consulting company Newlife.

Overview of the conference

At the conference, Permanent City Committee of the Party reported the process of approving ideas, tasks of planning central urban areas, highlight works of Tan An city.

Service-urban area at ward 5 and Huong Tho Phu commune has an area of 60,2 hectares. This project plays a role as a highlight urban area of the city, as a center of public space combined between history, culture - landscape and nature; simultaneously as a central park, trade and service, utility areas, independent and synchronous infrastructure system and technical infrastructure corridor, river corridors.

Vam Co Tay riverside urban area - ward 5 and Huong Tho Phu commune has an area of 36,7 hectares. This project located at an important location, highlight urban area in Vam Co Tay river, as a public service center, commercial service center, urban entertainment - tourism service. Simultaneously, it is a modern residential area combined with high-rise and adjacent commerce - commerce as well as landscape park and entertainment along with Vam Co Tay river.
