The Former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam - Mr. Truong Tan Sang and SAIGONTEL welcomed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea - Mr. Park Noh Wan and investors, Korean enterprises to exchange and discuss contents to promote the friendly cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Korea.

The meeting also had the attendance of Ho Chi Minh Departments of Industry, Leaders’ Representatives of Long An province, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Provincial Party Committee Secretary of the of Long An; Mr. Nguyen Van Ut - Chairman of Long An People's Committee. On the Korean side, there were the attendance of Mr. Kim Eui Joong – Commercial Counselor; Mr. Shin Sang Yeol – Counselor for Science & Information Technology; Mr. Wee Joon Seok – Deputy Consul General in Ho Chi Minh; Mr. Cho Han Deog – Director of KOICA Vietnam; Ms. Seo Mi Young - Deputy Director of KOICA Vietnam and representatives of the Korean Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Shinhanbank, SMBL, Hanwha, Lotte, Samsng, SK, Nice Info Vietnam.

On the side of SAIGONTEL, there was the attendance of Mr. Dang Thanh Tam - Chairman; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh – Vice Chairman; Ms. Nguyen Cam Phuong – General Director of the company and representatives of the management board of member companies.

In the warm atmosphere of the meeting, former President Truong Tan Sang made a welcome speech to the Korean Ambassador delegation and enterprises. Through this meeting, Mr. Truong Tan Sang expressed his wish that the Korean Ambassador would continue to support, promote and introduce the investment environment and attract Korean FDI to Vietnam, thereby continuing to strengthen, building close diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea.

Mr. Park Noh Wan - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea in Vietnam expressed his deep thanks to Former President Truong Tan Sang as well as the SAIGONTEL’s leaders for the warm and thoughtful welcome. Mr. Park Noh Wan also said: Vietnam is currently a good investment environment and has a lot of development potential, an "attractive spot" to attract investment to the Korean market.

After the meeting ended, the parties had an intimate reception to strengthen the relationship as well as the cooperation in the near future. At this meeting, SAIGONTEL was also impressed by the hospitality, friendliness and affirmation of professional image with the Korean delegation.
