In the morning of March 2^nd, 2021, Chairman of Long An People's Committee – Mr. Nguyen Van Ut and representatives of leaders of Can Giuoc District and leaders of Departments, Boards and Branches such as Department of Planning and Investment; Department of Resources and Environment; Department of Transportation; Department of Construction, Economic Zone Management Board directly led the delegation of Saigon (SAIGONTEL) to survey key projects of Long An province such as Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park; Tan Tap Industrial Park; Long An international port; 415 ha urban area in Phuoc Vinh Tay - Dong Thanh - Tan Tap commune; Urban area in Ward 5, Tan An City, Long An Province.

As an experienced unit in the field of industrial - urban development, Saigon Telecommunication & Technologies Corporation Company (SAIGONTEL) is confident to contribute to change the face of Long An province and bring economic - society development for Long An province in the near future through accelerating the implementation of infrastructure investment in Nam Tan Tap and Tan Tap industrial zones in 2021, catching up with the wave of "FDI" investment transferred to Vietnam.

The Chairman of Long An People's Committee also took the delegation to visit Long An International Port and Urban Areas to introduce potential investors for the development of Long An province as well as the advantages of Long An in connecting the region.

Long An International Port is located in Can Giuoc district, on the Soai Rap channel, is adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City, is the gateway connecting Ho Chi Minh City with 13 provinces of the Mekong Delta; 20 km from the East Sea estuary by river and 38-40 km from the center of Ho Chi Minh City along National Road 50. Long An international port is not only a place for transshipment of goods, but more importantly, a driving force for the socio-economic development of the southern key economic region and the entire Mekong Delta region, creating favorable conditions for SAIGONTEL projects with strong development.

Through the meeting, the Chairman of People's Committee also highly appreciated the contribution of investors in the past time. At the same time, they hope that SAIGONTEL will soon implement projects to quickly turn Long An into a region of outstanding economic development in the South.
