In the afternoon of February 2nd , 2021, SAIGONTEL presented 300 Tet gifts to disadvantaged people and policy households at the People's Committee of Duc Hoa district, Long An province.

The gift giving ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Ut - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of Long An People's Committee and representatives of SAIGONTEL: Ms. Nguyen Cam Phuong - General Director & Mr. Phan Van Giac - Chief Representative of Ho Chi Minh City Office.

The estimated value of a Tet gift is 1,050,000 VND, including in-kind and cash. The total value of gifts is more than 300 million VND.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut said that SAIGONTEL is one of the organizations that have had positive activities with social work in Long An locality.

To support epidemic prevention in Long An province, on February 8th , 2021, SAIGONTEL donated 1.000 test kits to help quickly test the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Estimated total value of the kit is up to 600 million VND.

  • Gifts including "Rice & Necessities" to people in difficult circumstances or temples raising orphans, centers/hospitals with people in need, etc.

Recently, at the Cultural Center of Son Tra District, Da Nang City, SAIGONTEL presented 200 meaningful Tet presents to poor households in the city.

Accordingly, presents were given to poor households of 4 wards: An Hai Dong, An Hai Tay, An Hai Bac and Man Thai wards; presented to members of the Veterans Association, members of the Farmers' Union and members of the Blind Association with difficult circumstances in Da Nang city.

People in difficult circumstances received charity gifts at Loc Phung pagoda (Hanoi)

In the morning of January 27th , in the program "Tet of Love – Tan Suu 2021", SAIGONTEL and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha cooperated with the Sharing charity group to prepare a charity gift giving ceremony for people in Hoa Binh City.

The gift giving ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Ut - Provincial Party Committee Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Long An People's Committee. It is known that the charity trip in 2 communes is one of SAIGONTEL's series of charity activities in Long An province in the late 2020 and early 2021.

To continue the SAIGONTEL's charity activities to support people in the Central region affected by storms and floods, on the morning of October 22nd , a charity group coordinated by SAIGONTEL and other units arrived in Phu Thuong commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province.

The program is organized by SAIGONTEL in association with the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Sharing Charity Group.

At Phu Thuong Commune People's Committee, SAIGONTEL delegation presented 500 gifts to people who were affected by storms and floods: losing their homes, losing their earnings. Each gift includes: 1 million VND in cash, 20kg of rice and 1 set of blankets.
