In the morning of October, 18th, at the office of Dong Nai Provincial Party, there was a meeting of leaders of Dong Nai province and Saigon Telecommunication and Technologies Corporation (Saigontel). The agenda included offering activity of 2000 tons of rice of Saigontel, simultaneously discussion on proposals and investment orientation of the Group in Dong Nai province.

Attendance the meeting, on the side of the province, there was Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh – Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary; Mr. Cao Tien Dung – Deputy Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Cao Van Quang – Member of Provincial Standing Committee, President of the Vietnam Provincial Fatherland Front; Mr. Ho Thanh Son – Deputy Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Quan Minh Cuong - Deputy Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

On the side of Saigontel, there was Mr. Dang Thanh Tam – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ms. Nguyen Cam Phuong – General Director of the company and employees representative of NGS company, SPT company and Vinatexin.

Overview of the meeting between Saigontel and leaders of Dong Nai province dated 18/10/2021

At the meeting, Mr. Cao Tien Dung – Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee was on behalf of state officials and citizens to send their thanks to Saigontel for promoting spirit of great solidarity, sharing love, accompanying with the province in the prevention and contral of the Covid -19 pandamic.

The Chairman of Provincial Peole’s Committee said that Dong Nai is currently transitioning to the stage of production recovery and development, implementing the new normal. All the support form businesses, especially rice, milk, medicine…at this time is essential. Mr. Dung said:”At a time when Dong Nai was in trouble, 10,000 bags of medicine and 4,000 cartons of milk, oxygen bottles and 2,000 tons of rice brought here by Saigontel were really valuable and promptly saved and helped people. We really appreciate this help”.

On this occasion, Saigontel also presented the logo supporting 2,000 tons of rice for the representative of the provincial leaders, Mr. Cao Van Quang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province. Reportedly, recently Saigontel also distributed such rice to 11 administrative departments of the province, and directly went to the districts to ensure the delivery and receive as scheduled.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sagontel – Mr. Dang Thanh Tam also expressed his interest in the investment environment in Dong Nai province, simultaneously highly appreciated the results achieved by the provincial state authority in building and economic development, ensuring social security for the people. The Chairman Dang Thanh Tam said that Dong Nai has a lot of advantages of geographical location, land bank, labor resources compared to other provinces, if there are breakthrough solutions in investment attraction policies, specific strategies for economic development, the province will rise to the top in the region. Especially focusing on air transport, regional linking logistics, etc.

Mr. Tam emphasized that Saigontel and relevant companies shall be willing to sponsor and support Dong Nai province in formulation of general planning (planning on social economic strategy of the province). With experienc of a developed Investor and implementing successfully many industrial parks and infrastructure in provinces of the country such as: Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Da Nang, HCMC, Long An, etc. Saigontel as well as the Group stated that they have capability to implement many projects in the future in Dong Nai province!
