On March 16^th , 2021, the Department of Information and Communications of Thai Nguyen province organized the signing ceremony of the consulting contract to sponsor digital transformation consulting services for Thai Nguyen province with the Sponsor - Saigon Telecommunication & Technologies Corporation (SAIGONTEL) and strategic consulting partner Roland Berger Pte.Ltd Company (one of the top 3 prestigious strategic consulting groups in the world) with the aim of building a smart city smart in Thai Nguyen.

In the signing ceremony, there was attendance of representatives of Thai Nguyen Department of Information and Communications Mr. Do Xuan Hoa - Director of the Department of Information and Communications. On behalf of SAIGONTEL Company, there was the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Dang Khoa - Deputy General Director of Telecommunications Technology segment. On Roland Berger's side, there was the attendance of Mr. Bui Dao Thai Truong - Deputy General Director of Southeast Asia and the witness of Ms. Nguyen Cam Phuong - General Director of SAIGONTEL; Mr. Vo Chi Thanh - Chairman of the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council; Mr. Tang Ngoc Truong An - General Secretary of Vietnam's digital transformation ecosystem.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Xuan Hoa - Director of the Department of Information and Communications sincerely thanked and highly appreciated SAIGONTEL's contributions to the province's socio-economic development over the past time, especially funding the entire fee for "digital transformation" implementation in the province with the aim of maximizing the effective implementation of the Prime Minister's Decision No. 749/QD-TTg dated June 3^rd , 2020 approving the "National digital transformation by 2025, with orientation to 2030" and Resolution No. 01-NQ/TU on "Thai Nguyen province's digital transformation program for the period of 2021 - 2025, with orientation to 2030".

Also at the Signing Ceremony, Mr. Bui Dao Thai Truong - Deputy General Director of Southeast Asia of Roland Berger consulting unit expressed his gratitude to the leaders of SAIGONTEL, the leaders of Thai Nguyen Department of Information and Communications for their trust and selection of the Company as the consulting unit for Digital Transformation" implementation. At the same time, the consulting unit Roland Berger affirmed that it will quickly start implementing the work under the signed contract.

Previously, in January 2021, SAIGONTEL signed a memorandum of commitment to sponsor Thai Nguyen province for a socio-economic development plan for the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2025. With the agreement of Thai Nguyen People's Committee and Thai Nguyen Department of Information and Communications, SAIGONTEL continues to be the sponsor and supporter for "digital transformation" implementation with IT application in state management, digital working environment implementation in the province in order to build a "smart city" following the world trend.
