On January 25^th, 2021, in Hanoi, SMBL and SAIGONTEL organized a signing ceremony of strategic cooperation in the plan to attract Korean investment in industrial parks and high-tech zones that SAIGONTEL invested in Vietnam.

Attending the signing ceremony were representatives of leaders of the parties, including: Mr. Dang Thanh Tam - Chairman of SAIGONTEL; Ms. Nguyen Cam Phuong - General Director, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tu - Deputy General Director and representatives of departments. On the SMBL side, there was the presence of Mr. Yoon Sang Ho - Chairman of SMBL, Chairman of Korean Association in Vietnam and company representatives.

SAIGONTEL is a member of Saigon Investment Group (SGI) - a leading private group in the field of investment and development of industrial - urban - service complexes. SMBL is a 100% Korean-invested company specializing in investment consulting, promoting two-way trade between Vietnam and Korea in many fields of public, agriculture, service and representative of business associations. Korean small and medium enterprises in the local market. Previously, in December 2020, the two parties successfully organized an online investment promotion conference, attracting the attention of many large Korean investors to Da Nang. The online conference had the presence of a number of large corporations such as LG, Bithumb and members who are high-tech product manufacturers belonging to Korean hi-tech associations.

Following that success, the two sides signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement to come up with specific plans to bring Korean investors to invest in localities in the key investment promotion network by SAIGONTEL. At the same time, coordinate to create favorable conditions for Korean investors in the process of researching and implementing investment procedures in Vietnam in accordance with the law.

In the immediate future, the two parties will focus on Korean high-tech associations that have close relations including KOIIA, NTRA, DIVA, G-PASS and other Korean technology associations/cities, with the aim with promoting investment attraction projects and policies to members who are high-tech factories of associations, with the desire to attract large investment enterprises with high technology content, large investment for local development.

Through this signing, SAIGONTEL hopes to quickly promote investment cooperation between Vietnam and Korea and choose a strategic location for the development of the Vietnam - Korea industrial park in the future.
