Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province has promoted adding 6 new industrial zones to the region to promote economic development to a new level, of which Xuyen Moc Industry - Urban - Service Complex has the largest area of 1,143 hectares.
The Management Board of Industrial Parks (IZs) of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province has just proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to add 6 more industrial zones, totaling an area of more than 4,796 hectares, into the development orientation. The list includes Xuyen Moc Industrial Park - Urban - Service (Xuyen Moc district) with the largest area of 1,143 hectares; Dat Do II Industrial Park (extension of Dat Do I Industrial Park - Dat Do District) with an area of 1,000 hectares; Phuoc Hoa Industrial Park (Phu My town) with an area of 800 hectares; Da Bac Industrial Park (Chau Duc District) phase 2 - 3 with an area of 500 hectares; Expanded Phu My 3 Industrial Park (Tan Thanh District) with an area of 650 hectares; Cu Be Industrial Park (Chau Duc District) with an area of 500 hectares.
In which, Xuyen Moc Industry - Urban - Service Complex is invested by Saigon Telecommunication & Technologies Corporation (SAIGONTEL), approved by the province to research and develop a project in 2018. Up to now, the selection of location and project scale has been basically completed. The project is expected to be implemented in Hoa Hoi, Hoa Hiep and Binh Chau communes (in Xuyen Moc district).
According to the assessment of the Management Board of Industrial Zones of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the demand for land lease in industrial park projects of foreign investors is very large and urgent. Therefore, it is very important and expand industrial parks to create a land fund ready for lease in the near future.
